Creative Curriculum Overview

Each half term our wider curriculum planning follows a topic based theme.  Where possible, links to the theme are made across all subjects, creating an immersive learning experience where children can develop and apply knowledge and skills learnt across areas. 
Learning in geography, history, art and DT takes place throughout the topic with both knowledge and skills being developed inline with the National Curriculum.
Progress and attainment is assessed and monitored through the schools tracking system, Target Tracker, and children identified as more able are given opportunities to work at greater depth.
