Indian Dancing Workshop

14th May 2018

We started our week of learning about Hindusim with a day of Indian Dance.
Barry, our dance teacher, taught us a style of traditional Indian Dance used for storytelling in the morning called Kathak which involved using our feet to stamp the beat and our hands to make shapes and gestures such as the deer.
In the afternoon we learnt some modern, Bollywood dance which we then performed for our parents and friends.  It was an excellent day which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
