Mama Mule joined us again to work with Nursery.
This time making mini Victoria sponges in celebration of the Queen's Jubilee.
Once the sponge had been created we used cutters to make little circles, buttered on the jam and icing and placed it all together, just like a sandwich.
We all got to try some and they were delicious!
Topic this week was all about Grace Darling and why she is remembered.
We all learnt so much about the wonderful coast on our doorsteps and how Graces heroic actions saved the lives of many.
We all enjoyed acting out the great rescue story.
We explored primary colours, colour mixing and altering shades using black and white.
To create our wonderful portraits of the Queen.
All the paintings are amazing!
They are displayed in the windows for everyone to see.
